In moto one , Wikoff took the e a rly lead , with Mille r, Dou g Schmid , Wear a nd Ca rilli in tow . While Miller took th e ch ec kers way ahead o f Wikoff, Ca rilli followed in a few sec onds behind, and Schmid, carving an insid e rut , barely edged out Wea r for fourth .
