Lace y worked his way pa st Whitlaw at th e m idwa y po int to finish third . Alsobrook was q uick est out of th e gate in moto two , bu t he bobb led in the first t u rn and h anded the ea rly lead to Lacey. Lac ey ran out front for a lap before Smith pulled up next to him and kept the throttle pin ned off a ju m p to sai l into the lead . J immy Soliz passe d Lacey for second a t the midwa y poin t and set out after Smith . S ol iz' s effo rt was in vai n , a s S mi t h was flawless fo r the rest of the moto fo r a sweep of the class. Lacey 's 3 -3 wa s good e nough for the secondplace trophy , follow ed by Alsobrook (2-4 ) and Sol iz (5 -2) . Sanchez gree ted the check e rs in th ird , w it h Tan n e r Lang ha m a nd Lance Cou ry no t fa r be hind . Seely go t the holeshot in m ot o two , with Pugmi re righ t o n his back fender. Seely went down o n the o p e n in g lap and Pugm ire wa s s o close he couldn't av o id h im and al so hit the dirt. Sanchez inher it ed th e lead . Pugmire qu ickly recov ered to main tai n s e c o n d place , ah ead of Langham and Co ury. Pugmire pa ssed Sanchez to go 2 -1 for t h e o ve ra ll. Sanchez (3 -2 ) edged out Seely ( 1-5) for runne r-u p honors. Langham (4 -3) and Coury (4 -5) cla im ed fourth a nd fifth, respectively . s p o t and had to settle for second place, over Anthony Ba rba covi, who got stuck in the gate and had to fight h is way up int o an eve ntua l third place finish , over Dar in Chisholm and Ryan Reina . Mahon snare d t he hole s hot in round two a nd qu ic kly put a few sec on ds on the field until Colson got with the program at the halfway mark and reel ed in Mahon to make him work for th e win.
