Casey Cla rk rounded the first turn in the lead in the first 250cc Open A rno to , with J ason Conlon , Josh Sterritt , Vera c ka a nd Dav id Ginol fi trail ing. With j us t ha lf a lap c ompleted , C onl on ca u g h t Clark a nd began applying pressure for the lead , while Veracka claimed third after re legating Ginolfi and Sterritt to fourth a nd fifth after two qu ick passes on the infield section of the course. The top five rema ined the same at the s t a rt of lap two . About halfwa y into la p two , Vera cka p assed Conlon fo r s e cond. Ver a cka c h a rg e d ha rd a nd caught Clark on th e following lap but didn 't m a ke a pa s s fo r th e lead until lap four, a nd th en h e qui c kl y be ga n to p ull away . Veracka took th e first -moto win , with Cla rk , Conlon , Ginolfi and Ste rritt in tow . Sterritt and Ginolfi shot out to the front o f th e pack and exited th e first turn s id e by s id e , b a tt ling fo r t h e mote-two hole sh ot a n d th e lead. Gino lfi c a m e o ut o n top and led all the way to the c he c ke rs . Rounding ou t the top five were Ver a cka , Sterritt, Clark and Con lon. Ginolfi was out fron t by about four sec onds by th e sta rt of lap two . When the lead riders exited th e Experts O nly sec tio n , the top tw o rema ined the s ame , while a b attl e fo r t h ir d was he a ting up b e tw e e n S t err it t an d C la rk . Clark passed Ste rritt , but Sterritt ca m e right b ack a n d re p a s s e d Clark for third . They went ba c k an d fort h s e ve ra l times before Clark fina lly go t a pass to stick . S te rritt d ropped to fourth . However, Sterritt soon found himself in another battle - with Conlon , for fourth . Conlon pa s s ed Sterritt before the end of lap two . Sterritt now fou nd himself in fifth. Ginolfi increased h is lea d to five s ec ond s on lap three and to seven seconds by the s ta rt of la p fou r. Conl on passed Cla rk to ta ke t h ird o n t he in fie ld section of the t ra c k a b out halfway into lap four. Ginolfi held on for the second 250cc Op e n A mo to wi n, with Vera ck a , Co nlon , Cla rk and Sterritt trailing . Zac hary Hill nailed th e hole s hot and the early lead in the first 12 5c c B moto but gave up that lead to a hard charging Nicholas Mow ry on the infie ld sec ti o n o f t h e track. Hill dropped to second. Rounding out the top five were Toby Bald auf , Cliff Bruneau Jr. and Ryan Wood. Robert Sh uckart passed Wood on lap two for fifth. Hill a nd Baldauf were now battling fo r second. Baldauf made the pass to t a ke second just before the start of lap t hree . Hill droppe d to thi rd.
