Izzi and laFou nta ine were in a battl e royale for sec ond , while LaCe nter, Was hington 's Josh ua Hill was co ming on fast. Millsa ps wo n round one with ease, topping laFountaine, whil e Hill took ove r the point in the eocc (9- 11) Stock division on the white-flag lap . Millsaps got down to bus iness right away in moto two , leading England's Adam Chatfield and California's Sean Hayes thro ugh the flrst tum. laFountaine and Hill cam e on with a rush to grab seco nd and third . Hill soon passed laFounta ine and went afte r Millsaps, but Mill· saps turned it up; howe ver, Hillwouldn't let go , pressuri ng hi m for most of the race. Finally I Millsa ps eked ou t s o me daylight and then crui sed on to a nother easy w in , taking the eocc (12-1 6) overall title and be sting LaFoun· taine and Chatfield . Hill finished a strong se cond to take the o ver all eocc (9· 1 1) crown, ah ead of Izzi and Trent Pugmire. Ronni e Good win wa s also on fir e, using two straight victories to capture th e 80 cc Beg inner tr oph y , in front of Nathan Ambrose a nd Fredd ie Sca rlett . The 125/250cc race had its share of hotsh oes as well .
