Higgins resumed the top spot at the start of moto two. Davey was second, followed by Jones and Buzzard. Raimonde passed Alex Haag in the whoops for fourth. Davey, Jones and Buzzard were in a tight battle. Coming off a corner while trying to pass Davey, Jones clipped the front wheel accidentally and sent Buzzard to the ground. Haag and Raimonde each made mistakes in the moto, letting Austin White and James Rogers move into the top five. The CWI/PJ1/Thor-sponsored Higgins won the second moto, pursued by Jones, Davey, White, Rogers, Buzzard and Raimonde. Paul Pearcy took the overall in the 80cc (14-16) class. It looked like Chris Young had the holeshot, but he slid out on the off-camber right-hander. Ranel Cox had the lead, followed by David Noriega, Pearcy, Cory BuUiner and Wes McKean. When the pack came back into view, Pearcy had displaced Noriega for second. Pearcy got underneath Cox just before the scoring section and took over the lead. One lap later, Cox went down at the scoring section. Noriega slid out in a corner after the tabletop jump. Then McKean moved around Bulliner for second. Pearcy cruised in for the win, followed by McKean, Bulliner, Noriega and Young. Pearcy led the second moto from start to finish. Cox worked up from a poor start to garner second. Noriega battled with Bulliner and claimed third, with fifth going to McKean. eN Tucson Race.~ PaItc Tucson,Arizana Results: Man:h 11, ZOOl [Round Zl P/W (4-6): I. Cody Thomas (Cob): 2.
