When the field of 24 125cc Juniors sorted themselves out on the first lap, the Arizona Powersports-sponsored White had the lead. Second belonged to Brandon Capone, followed by Bryan Ehrman, Ryan Robinson and Casey Creley coming into the infield section. After taking on the West Coast in the Golden State Nationals, Ehrman showed what he learned, applying pressure to Capone. Ehrman pulled alongside Capone at the step-upjstep-down jump and drove to the outside of the next corner. Capone, from the inside, tried to take away the line, but Ehrman charged through the whoops and took over second. Creley tried the inside line going into the infield section but laid his bike over, letting Mark Tory inherit fifth. White's lead had shrunk to a bike length over Ehrman, due in part to lapped traffic. On the final lap, coming from the off-camber corner, Ehrman pulled even with White, but White had the inside position on the left-hander and came out just ahead. Ehrman cut back underneath and was once again beside White. On the right-hander just before the whoops, White went wide, trying to stifle Ehrman, but Ehrman managed to hang it out through the whoops again, his boots coming off the pegs as he passed White for the lead. White tried on the final comer to get inside of Ehrman, but he couldn't. Ehrman took the moto win, followed by White, Capone, Robinson, Tory, David Penski and Robby Delancey. White pulled the holeshot again in moto two, followed by J.e. Keenum. Capone passed Keenum for second on the off-camber. Penski was fourth, followed by Nic Shaffer, Creley, Kyle Strippleman and Robinson. On lap two, Strippleman passed both Creley and Shaffer just before the tabletop jump. Then Strippleman stalled in the next corner, almost collecting Shaffer and Creley, but Creley and Shaffer went around for fifth and sixth, respectively. Penski passed Keenum for third in the whoops. Then Robinson went by Strippleman for seventh. White held on for the moto win, over Capone and Penski. Keenum was fourth, with Creley, Shaffer, Robinson, Ehrman, Strippleman and Delancey rounding out the top 10. Higgins was leading Kyle Raimonde at the start of the first aocc (12-13) moto. Kyle Jones passed Raimonde in the whoops for second, followed by Alex Buzzard and Brent Davey. Then Davey passed Buzzard on the front section for third. Just before the white flag, Davey passed Raimonde for third. Higgins finished first, with Jones, Davey, Raimonde and Buzzard rounding out the top five. ., • Ooo'! be roadkill. buy McGraw. the kmg of the road In motorcycle insurance for Califonlla.
