Troy Adams, Charles Duffy, Tony Lorusso and Forrest Butler were on his tail. Duffy quickly passed Adams, as did Lorusso. The top four pulled away and the order stayed the same. Barry Carsten rounded out the top five. In the second moto, Duffy got out front and tried to run away. Lorusso, Carsten, Adams, Butler and Hadsell were playing catch-up. Hadsell soon knifed his way up to third. The battle between Lorusso and Hadsell was bringing the two closer to Duffy. After halfway, Duffy lost his five-second cushion. Duffy soon lost the lead, falling at the top of the horseshoe. The battle was now between Lorusso and Hadsell. The battle came to an end, with two laps to go, as Hadsell made his move around the sweeper. Duffy came home in a distant third, as Adams battled Carsten and got fourth. Bobby Wilson grabbed the holeshot in the combined Four-Stroke and Over 40 class, followed by Timothy Eggers, Nick Adams, Drew Justice and Derrick Kain. John Lundy moved to fifth. At the end of lap one, Adams moved to second. Adams passed Wilson for the lead on lap two. Lundy and Kain moved to fourth and fifth. Wilson fell at the top of the elevator, dropping to fifth with two laps to go. Adams and Eggers led in the Four-Stroke class, Lundy was the. next Over 40 rider, and Kain and Wilson rounded out the top five in the Four-Stroke class. Lundy led the thumpers in moto two, with Kain, Eggers, Adams and Wilson following. Eggers quickly passed Kain going down into the pit. Before they got to the elevator, on the first lap, Eggers went down. Second was Adams, who passed Lundy for the lead a few corners later. The fight was for second. Wilson passed Kain after- the tabletop for third. Then Wilson zapped Lundy for second. Lundy let off on the gas and let Kain and Eggers by.
