his Honda to the runner-up spot each time out
in the 20-rider field. Hansen could have won it
all when he moved up to second place early in
the final moto, but he crashed right at the finish line, dropping too far back to make a
charge.
Lynette Wosick, the lone lass among the
day's entrants, nearly bested the fellas in the
Over The Hill Gang's Over 38 Expert contest.
The first race started with Wosick in front for
more than half the race, with fellow Yamaha
racers Alex Chellew and Philip Holmes close
behind. She finally got stung when Holmes
made a late-race charge for the win, whHe she

only slipped to second. Her hopes for an overall victory came to an end in the second moto
when Holmes, who needed only a runner-up
finish to earn the overall, did just that.
Three riders successfully tallied overalls in
two classes. Casey Hinson rode a pair of
Suzukis to wins in the 80cc (12-13) and
Supermini; Greg Lepesh topped the Vet and
Over 25 Master classes on Yamahas; and
CMA promoter Aaron Pipes' son Dustin
grabbed the 65cc (9-11) and 80cc (7- 11) victories on Kawasakis.
