YZ250, leading Ed Kiley, County Line MX-sponsored Kevin Knight, Brandon Hoff, and RamiscaI. Silcox is on the comeback trail after spencling a few years off the bike. He seriously looked like "the man" for a few laps, but Ramiscal was looking toward the front and was moving up quickly. On the first lap, Ramiscal followed Hoff around Knight and then just as quickly sailed by Hoff in the Outback section. He then passed Kiley and quickly lessened the gap between himself and Silcox, the leader. Silcox used some smooth moves to answer Ramiscal's many pass attempts on the jumps, but he simply couldn't fend off an inside attack on the 180degree turn that followed a long straight. Ramiscal hit the inside, throwing such a roost that the dirt seemed to knock Silcox off line. The mota was Ramiscal's from that point on. He was followed past the checkers at a distance by Young, who rode an amazing race on the only 125 in the pack, coming from last place and putting in the fastest laps of the day. Silcox held on for third. Silcox put his newfound starting technique to good use in the second mota. Nobody was anywhere near him in the first turn. Ramiscal again started poorly but more than made up for it with a slam-dance ride to the front. Only Silcox gave him a fight, but Ramiscal had the raw edge he needed to knife under Silcox again at nearly the same spot as in the first mota, and from there he charged away for the win and first overall. Knight looked very strong, but he uncha racteristica II y face-pI anted severely after working up to second place; that unfortunate bobble opened the door for Young to snatch second in the mota and second overall. Silcox was third overall. Daniel Young and Kiley were fourth and fifth overall. The Open class at West Florida MX has begun to pick up the pace. The rider turnout has increased and the competition has stiffened up. There have been several different winners throughout the season, but on this day O'Daniel was ready to put a cap on the season with an authoritative win in the championship final. During practice, the field looked too close to call, though one rider was heard to say, "The reason we all look so close is that O'Daniel doesn't like to show off until it's really necessary." The first mota fired off with an unidentified flying rider (the first turn is a long way from the stands) taking the holeshot, followed by O'Daniel and Travis Mcinnis. O'Daniel moved to the front and quickly developed a small lead, with Suzuki 250cc jockey Mcinnis fighting hard to stay in his wake. Mcinnis was looking very Buy Your Supercross Tickets From.
