Ron Tuzinsky was tops in the Over 50
Amateur contest, providing the fastest action
in both motos and rightfully claiming his two
moto wins. A quick Bill Malone slotted in at
second in moto one, and Steve Alexander
earned it in the second mota.
It was a great day of racing for Jim
Williams. His two holeshot starts resulted in
first-place wins, and he couldn't have done it
any better. Joe Red powered across in second
in moto one, and Richard Lamis outdid Red to
be the runner-up in moto two.
In Over 50 Novice competition, the always
fast and hard-charging Ed Rodzach didn't disappoint at all with his two first-place finjshes.
Bob Alloy sneaked in there with a secondplace finish in moto one, and Asker Lamkjaer
had his new Suzuki in for second the second
time around.

Ashland, Kentucky's Luke Lyons mastered the
Novice classes in Jackson, Ohio. His sweep of
the 125cc and 250cc C classes was a domimmt performance from this Yamaha· mounted
rider.
The double-class wins by Lyons were not
the only notable postings of the night, however; F&S Suzuki"s Charlie Dunaway had another great set of finishes, notching the top podium spot in both the 125cc and 250cc A
Money classes.
Medina's Vince Kamow ran consistent second-place runs behind Dunaway. Kamow was
on the gas hard all night, but he was unable to
conquer the speedy Ohio Moto Sports-backed
Dunaway.
The pride of Lebanon, Ohio, Egan Rosell
was terrific on his venomous Cobra CM50. He
snapped and slithered his yellow machine to
the front of the 50cc (4-6) pack. Kyle Cottrill
did the same to the 50cc (7-8) class, coiling
and striking at will with his King Cobra 50.
As usual, Kyle Smith and Levi Kilbarger
went at it in the Mini Junior and 65cc (10-11)
classes. Smith romped to the 65cc win aboard
his KTM, while Kilbarger came home second.
Kilbarger would get his revenge in the 80cc
(7-11) age class (also known as the Mini
Junior class); his RM80 sneaked in ahead of
Smith's RM80 on the jumpy circuit.
The 65cc (7-9) class was thrashed by the
MX E-Z lift.com's Nathan Heskett on his Shot·
gun Starting Gales-backed KTM 65.
Nathan Skaggs, no stranger to the podium,
was another double-class victor in Jackson. He
screamed his YamahaYZl25 in for both wins in
the Schoolboy and 125cc B classes.
