was Mulder and Gonzales way out front, with Campbell, Carr, Humphrey and Holm following. Gonzales took the second-moto holeshot and led all the way, followed by Serzier, Gavette, Carr and Mulder, who suffered a bad start and had to work his way through the pack. By the end of the first lap, Mulder found himself in second, but by then Gonzales' lead was too much to make up in the sloppy conditions. At the halfway mark, Serzier passed Carr for fourth, but Serzier faltered on the closing laps and allowed Carr and his brother Colton Carr to slip by. The order at the finish was Gonzales, Mulder, Gavette, Hunter Carr, Colton Carr and Serzier. Seminole Power Sports(rim Farley Racing's Zachary Hamilton led the combined 80cc classes through the first turn. Following him were Goerke Constructions' Jeremy McCormick, Daytona Fun Machine/Chris Cruz Artistry's Camden Cruz, Cycle Goodies' Scott Thrower and Sun City Cycles' Christian Kelly. Thrower briefly moved into third before having problems. After the halfway mark, McCormick faltered, allOWing Cruz to take over the second spot. Hamilton stayed way out front to the finish, with Cruz, McCormick, Kelly and Thrower following. Cruz pulled the second-moto holeshot. Hamilton, McCormick, Kelly and Thrower were close behind. Hamilton had his chance early to get the lead, but he could never slide by. McCormick slid out in the mud and dropped two spots. Hamilton once again closed the gap on the last lap, but Cruz won despite the pressure. Kelly, Thrower and McCormick followed the first two riders across the finish line. I:N out to convincing moto wins in the combined 125cc C/Beginner classes. Jim Walker's Honda's Daniel Gray grabbed the first-moto holeshot. Clark followed, with Mark Thornton, AI LeBlanc and Chris Brueggemann behind. Clark took the lead on the first lap when they reached the bowl turn after the triple. LeBlanc and Brueggemann moved to third and fourth as Thornton experienced problems in the wet conditions. Brueggemann briefly moved into third, only to go down in the pit; many riders had problems all day on that section, as it was tough to climb back out. Paul Burtner moved into fifth, putting Thornton in fourth. After a bad start, Sun City Cycles' Traci Hess was on the move, taking over sixth and tightening up the battle for the third spot, now contested by four riders. LeBlanc lost two spots in the conditions: First Thornton slipped by, and a few corners later Burtner did the same. Hess was next, getting by LeBlanc two laps from the end. Hess was up to the challenge of this difficult track, and she tried her best to get Burtner, but to no avail. Clark and Gray crossed the finish line way out front, followed by Thornton, Burtner and Hess. The order at the start of the second moto was Thornton, Clark, LeBlanc, Gray and Brueggemann. By the time they reached the grandstands, Clark was in the lead. Burtner muscled his way past LeBlanc into third. Then LeBlanc had some problems; he dropped to sixth, moving Gray and Brueggemann up. At the finish-line jump, Gray took third. On the next lap, Thornton slipped and lost two spots, dropping to fourth behind Gray and Burtner. Before that lap was up, Thornton had more problems, losing fourth to Brueggemann. The order was now set. Clark once again took the win, with Gray, Burtner, Brueggemann and Thornton following. The 50cc (4-6) Shaft riders paddled their way around the track. Jeff Mulder led from start to finish, followed by Skyler Humphrey, Jeremy Gavette, Hunter Carr and Hunter Serzier. By the end of the first lap, Serratia Gonzales rebounded to fourth. On the next lap, she was in second, and she set her sights on Mulder, but Mulder held his own. Humphrey was a distant third, with Carr, Tyler Campbell and Ian Holm battling for position. Carr briefly moved into third before falling and dropping to fifth. Campbell then moved to third, but Humphrey tried to get the position back through the whoops. Carr was now watching the two and waiting for his chance, which came on the last lap when Humphrey went down. KTM-mounted Clark Stiles took the overall series honors in both the 125cc and 250cc Pro classes. Stiles had very little pressure on him going into the last round, as his main rival, Florida's Jarrett Tipping, was unable to mount a fmal challenge as he had been injured when he and Stiles collided in the penultimate round. However, Stiles' run to the final checkers was not entirely without difficulty, as Georgia's Derrick Fisher pushed him hard all day long, even taking a moto win in both the 125cc and 250cc classes. Jon Boy Monk was a strong third in both classes as well, challenging the two front-runners. Although cold, blustery, overcast conditions prevailed the entire day, the track was in perfect condition and a there was a full slate of riders on hand. Promoter Gary Blackwell and his crew stayed busy the entire day, mostly preparing the prize packages for the end-of-series awards. The winner of each Amateur class received a cruise for two, with the riders placing second through fifth receiving prizes provided by the promoters and series sponsors.
