second. Laps three through four, Murray and Turner swa p pe d positions for
the lead several times.

'This is my second race in the 40 class. I
was really loo king forward to this. I've
been battlin g in the 30 class for years .
And, like tod ay, I never overa lled the 30
class. So, it's like, I'm moving into the 40
class, I've go t to finally get the overall. I
go t a really bad start my first moto, so I
figu red I was doomed for the overall. I
had a lot of fun thou gh . It reminded me
of th e old da ys a t Asco t. It was clean
and it was fun."

lead in the first thr ee motos. A first-tum
cr ash betw een th e two r iders in th e
fourth mo to resulted in a fifth-place finish for Masuda. Masuda claimed seco nd
overall on Saturday and third on Sunday. "I'm just happy to be here racing. I
am look ing forward to next year," said
Masu-da .
