I guess I n eed for him to sta rt a little further back." Regard ing his battle wi th Davis, Fowler said, "It wa s a good race b e tween me and Ty. We were both practicing this week together. I knew he wouldn't pass me unl e ss I let him b y . We hooked pretty good ." . Off-road rider Davi s said , "It w as better than I ex p ected . Getting a good start is 90 percent of it her e. I was shocked that I could maintain th a t pace with those g uys . Dubach cam e b y m e at a pretty fast pace . I should've gotten by Fow ler. We collided a couple times." . D a v is lau g h ed and ad ded, " If he [Fowler] wasn' t a friend , I would have T-boned him. It was so close. I tried to get him in the back corne r like Dubach did to me . I decided to wait until the se cond m ota . We 've been practicing together and joked w ith each other that it' s going to be a race for seco nd place. And her e it is, him and me going at it. At th e finish lin e, Dubach h eld a four-second lead over Fowler, Davis and Robert. Kehoe crossed th e lin e in fifth and Matiasevich in sixth. "It's great to wi n it. This is my sixth time now," said Du bach. "It's certainly not get ting borin g. It seems like there's a new chall eng e th a t comes u p every tim e.
