Prior to the start, WiIloh said, "I will p robabl y never get th e cha nce to ride in a 24~ hou r race again, so I decid ed to give it a try and have a goo d time." Finishin g fourth, the IM5-spon sor ed team of Steve Hengeveld , Mike Healey, Jason Kawell and Oa kley Lehman completed the eve nt on a Kawasaki 10<250. Fifthin the Pro class wa s cap tu red by th e Yamaha YZ400F-m ou nt ed tea m of Brent Farrell, Erik Wolfe, Phil Holcom b and Chuc k McBurnev . We may not be the fastest, but we shou ld be really consisten t."· The Honda / Night Sun / Oneal/Tho rbacked Willo h team held the lead for the first two hours of the race, wh ich started at noon on Saturday.
