rear-brake cable' snapped and he shot past a turn, giving Morrison the opportunity to regain the lead. After he made the pass on Greer, Morrison went barreling past an.other turn. Edmondson nailed it perfectly, putting him in control of first p.osition as he came through the barrels going into the second lap. Lapped traffic caused Edmondson to slow down, giving Morrison the chance to sljp by. Morrison held on to the lead, taking the overall win. Chad Parker put in a great first-lap effort tn take the lead in the 200cc A class. Meanwhile, David White was making his way through the pack, recovering from a last-place start. Slower riders began to shut down Parker's pace, giving White the Rerfect opportunity to take a shot at the lead. White gained control of the lead and kept it to the finish: with Parker coming in second. Kawasaki rider Josh Elliot made a last-lap pass to get by KTM-mounted Brian Morgan for third. Randall Ellison took the holeshot in the 250cc A class, with Suzuki" rider Larry Trent, Cycle Center-sponsored Kawasaki rider Wesley Moran, and Tony Deal right behind him. Moran started working his way up to the front, passing Deal on a straight stretch and getting by Trent, who bounced off 01 a tree and to the side of the trail. Onc~ Moran passed Ellison, he kept a strong hold on the lead and kept up a lightningfast pace to take first place and the lead in the points standings. After passing Deal, who was stopped on the side of the trail, Trent got dialed in and set his sights on the lead. On the last lap, Trent had Moran in his sights, but Moran grabbed more throttle and took off. Suzuki rider Travis Williford battled his way up from a last-place start to take third place.
