straight 125cc GP win of the carn"I paign to equal Alessandro Puzar
as Italy's most successful Grand Prix
motocross rider of all time, but Mike
Brown continues to progress. After two
consecutive third-place overall finishes,
Brown and his Cat Honda ended the
day second overall at Bellpuig in Northern Spain..
What's more, Brown carne home just
10 seconds behind the champ in race
one, and then came within less than two
seconds of the win in race two.
Regular runner-up Claudio Federici
had finished in that position in race one,
bu t he could not improve past fifth in
race two after a poor start forced him to
charge through the dust.
Chiodi's Husky teammate Thomas
Traversini joined the champ on the
podium in both motos, while Jeff
Dement showed that he is slowly recovering from the flu bug by garnering fifth
overall from 8-4 motos.
