Antunez, Stephenson, Buehl and
their fellow Arenacross competitors
then headed off with friends and rela;
tives to nearby Park City, Utah, for several days of snowboarding and fun as
well as the elaborate awards banquet
held on the following Monday night.
Antunez received his $25,000 bonus
from P.J. Harvey, the owner of PJl
Brands, and then received a $10,000
bonus from American Suzuki's Pat
Alexander. In addition to a respectable
bonus, the remaining top 15 riders also
received several other individual
awards.

t was a great way to end a very successful season for Primal Impulse
Suzuki/Bill's Pipes/Shift-backed
Buddy Antunez at the final race of the
year of the PJl National Arenacross
Series.
Although the residellt of Temecula,
California, clinched his third straight
Arenacross championship last week in
San Jose, California, he saw no reason to
back off the pace and romped to another
perfect outing, taking the wins in all
four of the weekend's finals while wearing a patch on his pants reading "Three
Peat."
The wins came in dominating fashion
