Indiana, w ith hi s 1-2 moto ta lly. wa s second, with Lars-Erik Larsso n third a nd David Dem ang o fourth. With 17 riders on the 250cc Novice gate, the action was furious, but David Fox and Jon Meyers were able to dominate the front of the pack in both motos . Meyers came ou t strong in moto one and captured the win. In die second mota, both Meyers and Fox got off to a slow start. Fox m ot or ed hi s way through th e p a ck a nd too k control on th e third lap . Meyers ha d a lso been wo rki ng hard a n d man a ged to take seco nd behin d Fox. Fox, however, had deci ded enough was enoug h and he put the hammer down and made Meyers settle for second overall. It appeared that Pe te Scull y co uld do no wro ng in the 125cc No vice di visio n, as he came ou t in mota one and dominated the o ther 12 rid ers. M otu two appeared to be a rep eat of motu one, but Scully bobbled in one comer and then anothe r, and then fell. and in general just had a bad da y - ultimately finishin g fourth. His overall "t!. effort earned him second, behind Ryan McGL McGe e t rai led Scu lly in m ot o one a n d had caught u p to Scu lly in the second moto. When Scu lly began having prob lems , McGee was there to take over the lead . Weston Peick enjoye d the last race of the season, winning bo th the 80cc Stock (7-1 J) class and th e ROcc Begin ner divi sion. In the Stock class, Peick had to hold off Chase Takacs; then he had to ho ld off Marc Abern athy in the second moto. Aberna thv had finished th ird in mot o one and he ear ned seco nd overall.
