Faulkner wa s a rou nd Urban after a lap and he set out to reel in Mason, who by now had a full five-second advantage. Faulkner slowly closed in on Mas on and then outbraked him at the end of a very fast stra ight to take the lead . Mason matched Faulkner mo ve for mov e for the remainder of the mot o, bu t it was Faulkner who took the win . Daniel Bagwill had problems on the start but managed to climb up from 16th place to pass Urban on the last lap for th ird . In round two , Fau lkner absco nded with the holes hot ahead of Bagwill, who got a much better start, Ponce De Leon a nd Mason . Bagw ill ou tju mped Faulkn e r to r un o u t fro n t, bu t Fau lkn er rail ed aro und him a cou p le of turns later to pus h him back to second place. Mason w as a ro und Po nce De Leo n fo r third, wit h Urban a nd jimmy Ebe rle com in g up to challenge. Bagw ill d ou ble-ju mped past Fau lkn er and into the lead ag ain half way throu gh the race. Fau lkner dogged him for a lap·before wi nni ng a d rag race up a hill to retake the lead once and for all. Faulkner put five seconds on the field on the last lap to wrap up the overall w in , Mason pu t a last-lap move on Bagwill to secure second I' overall.
