In the seco nd moto, Mitchell pull ed his firsteve r holeshot , but he was on ly in the lead for one lap before Rega l stu ffed his way past. Action in the 50cc Shaft Drive class saw Battle Creek ride r Zachary Bassler blas t to victory over Austin Nelson in moto one. In moto two, Bassler took several soil sampl es and couldn' t catch Nelson. Nelson went on to win moto two and the overall. Visibility was reduced to only a few feet along most of the trail, lea vin g m9st of the riders gro ping a long the 7-mile cour se. After nursing a broken wrist d uri ng the last fou r races, Casey Cycle City-spo nso red Yama ha ri4er Jason Gree r was hun gry for an overall win . Greer and Motor Imports-ba ck ed Kawasa ki rider Danny Morrison were bangin g bars in the first tu rn of the AA start. Gree r stretched out a one-mi nute lead on Morri son going into the sec· ond lap and kept the scorching pace to take the ove ra ll w in and the AA -class cha m p ionsh ip .
