Sa turd ay fea tu red th e fi na l round of the 1998 su mmer 5010 GTO / GTU en d u ra nce races, and Vincent Haskovec took the GTO win over GlU ck Gra ves whil e Ken Chase topped the GTU field . A blu stery Sunday saw som e incred ible battles in the 17 featured races: Curtis Adams, back at his home trac k aft er fighting the AMA wa rs, won th e re started O pen Su pe rbi ke ra ce o ve r Chuck Graves in the morn ing, an d man y looked forwa rd to a remat ch in the afternoon's Form ula O ne ma in event. Sure eno ugh, Ad 4,ms lined up with Graves and the two batt led it out again, with Adams on ce again taking the checkered flag. The Form ula Three 125cc Grand Prix was a spec tacu lar race be tween Vicky jackso n-Bell and Rod ney Fee, wi th the tw o swa p pi ng th e lea d sev eral times as the laps wo un d d own .
