II was a wa rm da y a nd the win d was pickin g up as Johnny On isko led the 12Sec A pack arou nd the first tum. It wa s not lo ng. th ou gh , befo re Sweat mad e his move . for the fro nt of the class.. For the first lap, it was Shan e McMillin who was lead ing, but he was slowly being reeled in by Sweat. A little further back in the pack, Tony Wa ugaman was making his way u p through th e field a fter a bad start, He was w ith in striking d ista n ce of third p lace w he n a mista ke w as mad e, resu lting in Wa ugama n havin g to restart h is bike. Having difficu lty , he sta rted bac k up in eigh th place a nd made a modera te co me bac k to fifth .
