w ere run during th e ev e n t. Satu rda y w as
reserved for the Pee Wee clas ses on the sma ll
track, while Sunda y' s event opened the doors for
all three classes to hav e their min i ba ttles.
Ruthe rford was king of the Pee Wees after he

domi na ted the Sup er Pee Wee a nd SOc Stock
a nd Mod ified (7-8) classes. Ru therf ord's mus t

class, FlSCel made fast work of his seven th-p lace
start in the main to move to fou rth on lap one.
He then worked past Blane Fore on lap tw o and

three to move into second . Up front, Will iam
Berger m ain tained a torrid pa ce as Fiscel a nd
Roger Sterling pursued the lead er. On lap five,
however , Fore cras hed and brou ght out the red
flag while trying to make u p position s. Bad ly
bruised wi th a broken coll arbo ne, Fo re wa s
unabl e to rejoin the sing le-file res tar t, which sa w
Fiscel overta ke Berger for the lead a nd John ny
Isaa cs move up to d ice wi th Sterling for thi rd.
Du ring the last five lap s, Fiscel was able to build
on hi s lea d , wit h Berger g iving chase. Isaa cs
held off Ster ling for third at the flag .
In Pro Twin, Fiscel set the pa ce early as he

Gibson continued to move up as the laps wound

Patterson held back the late-race effort of John
E ke to snag third .
In the Pro Master s class, Isaacs d arted his
TPR-backed BSA Past Dan ny Ha mmond on lap
two an d built a comma nding lead to the fmish.
Behind Ha mmond , Berger scra mbled to dri ve
his Powroll Hond a past the BSA of Eke for the
