Frink didn ' t count on the late charge of Thornto n and allowed Thornton to ta ke th e moto win. Frink finis hed second, with Hopkins third overall and first in his class. In the seco nd m oto, Thornton didn 't race, and Hopkins came off th e lin e with a vengeance. On ce o u t front. Hopkins held off Frink for the overall and cla ss sweep . Travis Fr ink took th e 125cc 06-25) cl a ss win o ve r Thornton. Chad Clabaugh topped th e cla ss -of 125cc Be ginners, which had 18 competitors . Clab augh lost th e fir st moto to Brandon Bailey. Bail e y absco nded with the holeshot and led the battl e for second between Clabaugh, Kyle Bentley and Rad o van Panto vich . C la baugh took the s pot back fro m Bailey on lap two, wh ile Ben tley and Pantovich di spla ced Bailey to fou rth . In the seco nd moto , Bailey took the lead and held it for fou r laps u n til Claba ug h put m ore throttle into it through the whoops. Bailey ea rn ed seco nd for the day after holding off Bentley. Brad Masters dominated the 60cc (7-11) class but found Cha se Takacs to be a worthy oppo nent in both motes. Masters took the holeshot in round o ne and le ft the chas ing t o Takacs . Ta ka cs could n' t put it together and ha d to set tle for ~'C ond , ah ead of Steve n Cerda. In the second race, Masters got off the line in fourth . Takacs took the ea r ly lead , lea vin g Masters wit h th e chore o f weaving his way through the pack.
