Barrett bettered his first-moto finish by one and Crisp rounded out the top five. Chester's win in the 250cc Pro class was ~ little more difficult as he had to stuff his way past Hedrick in the second moto to earn the overall win with a 1-1 over Hedrick and ewton. Chester also reeled off wire-to-wire wins in the Over 25 A class. Benjamin Rutledge, who took fifth in the 250cc Pro class, followed Chester home in both outings and Al Lane Yamaha/G-Force Designs/Harrison Race Support-backed Kirk Johnson rounded out the top three. While no other riders could match Chester's hat trick with three class wins, there were a number of riders who took home double class wins: William Browning, Jered Black, Mark Whitley and Joel Baker. Yamaha-mounted rider William Browning mage his trip from Rushville, Ohio, worthwhile as he reeled off wins in the 85cc 02-13) and Supermini clas es. Kawasaki rider Kyle Justice and Suzukimounted Matt Miller traded finishes, with Justice earning the nod for second in 85cc 02-13) division. Keeping Browning honest in the Supermini class was Yamaha of Lumberton's Jason Bryant and Performance Honda's Blake Hovis. Meanwhile, Al Lane Yamaha/Pro Action/Barr's Competition's Jered Black was laying waste to the competition in the Unlimited Amateur class. Trying to keep Black in sight was Asheboro, orth Carolina, rider Jason BaldWin and Mooresboro, orth Carolina's Anthony Orr. Black's pace was much too quick for the competition and he quickly pulled away each moto. ·The 125cc B class proved to be a tougher nut to crack. In moto one, Black would have to pass leader Daniel Tesh and hold off hard-charging Kingsport Suzuki-mounted Brad Edwards and Suzuki rider Paul Justus. Moto two saw Black grab the holeshot but fall early in the moto, giving Edwards the lead. Edwards then sampled the red clay, handing the lead back to Black. Justus, who is just returning to racing after recovering from a broken collarbone, . took home runner-up honors, with Suzuki of Gastonia's Casey Barnes taking the final podium position in moto two. Suzuki of Gastonia /Baker' s Cycles Joel Baker took his first class win in the Over 30 A class. While Baker took both moto wins, Al Lane Kawasaki/G-Force Designs/Extreme-backed David Eller took second in moto one and recovered from a first-turn crash in moto two for third. Rounding ou t the top three was Martinez, Georgia, rider Robby Bargstedt (4-2). Baker's econd win on the day came at the expense of Suzuki riders David Tucker and Travis Bell. Baker made his way to the front in both motos, while Tucker and Bell swapped finishing positions. Tucker took runner-up honors on the day by way of his better secondmoto fi rush. The final two-class winner of the day was Waxhaw's Mark Whitley, as the steady Yamaha rider was perfect in all four motos. Whitley'S wins were in the Over 25 and Over 30 C classes. In the Over 25 C class, Whitley held off Waymon Autry and Keith Garland.
