Mark Wood, from Des Moines, was the closest challenger to Waddell with a 14.92-second time, with the Hoffmans, Jamie and Ronald, claiming the next two spots with 16.74- and 16.98-second times. Paul Hackbarth rounded out the top five in 18.68 seconds on his Ronda. Waddell's other wins came in the Open class, in which he came from behind to beat Wood and Mark Schultz, and in the King Of The Hill class, where the top 10 fastest riders of the day square off in a one-run finale. o 600cc Four-Stroke riders were able to top the hill, but Kevin Tilson came closest with a 42S-foot climb on his Triumph for the win. The Canadian Suzuki rider from Leamington in Ontario scored his second consecutive MRA Pro win by taking top honors in the combined Pro class. Foldesi had to battle past Marion, Ohio, Honda rider Joey Ballinger in both motos to score the victory. Ballinger used ~ood starting technique to lead both motos, Willi Foldes, con.stantly applying the pressure. Foldesi used a ve.ry good inside line through the jump-to-tabletop section that leads into the gulch to pass Ballinger in both motos. Ballinger stuck with the leader but could not get close enough to make a serious attempt to retake the lead. In other good racing. Gabe Stahl blasted to the win in the 2SOcc Intermediate division as the Kawasak! rider pulled a beautiful second-moto holes hot and ran away from the pack. Cory Mason rode a good race to claim second overall on his Yamaha. Other outstanding ride,rs of the day were double class winners Kyle McConnell, who took the Micro Super (7-8) division and 60cc division, with Greg Durivage claiming second in both classes. ·Super" Steve Holland manhandled the Vet and Over 35 classes by winning all four of his motos over Tim Bray and George Fannelli.
