most exdting Iaces of the day. After winning the opening moto, Suzuki-mounted Wesley Boyd got out of the gate behind Honda rider jalre Mathews. For the fust couple of laps, Mathews rode flawlessly anc~ started to stretch out his lead. At about the halfway point, Boyd began to reel in Mathews. On the 6nal lap, Boyd was all over Mathews, sticking in a wheel here a"d there while searching for a way around him. Mathews managed to hold Boyd off, collecting the well-deserved moto win and third overaJL Boyd won the overall, and Yamaha-mounted Larry Walker was sandwiched in between them. In all, some no riders were treated to a wellprepped track and perfect weather, as tbougb "Mom" had ordered it special herself. Results course, but Netz.er was able to hold off his charges to take the moto win. Wahlberg, Fox and Seleski finished out the top five, Mitch Wolf took sixth and professional factory Arctic Cat snowmobile racer Aa.ron Scheele took seventh. PfcilstickeT took the overall with a 1 ~2, while Netzer settled for second with a 4-1. In the Vet C class, there were enough riders to make two divisions, and Rob Irving was the dom.inant racer in the first division. Irving took the holeshot in the first moto aboard his YZ250 as Tim Mitchell followed closely and made Irving earn the win, hounding Irving most of the moto. Irving took the moto win, followed by Mitchell, jeff Bohhan, David Chalstrom, jeff Majkrzak, Bill Cunningham and Mike Lyndorff. Moto two saw Bohhan leading the pack of 26 riders ea rly on as Irving had to make up from a mediocre start, but he was into second place by the end of lap one. From there, Irving pressed hard and made a pass on the last lap, and then he and Bohhan moved out to a 20-second lead over third. Lrving took the win, followed Bohhanl Mitchell, Cunningham l Brad Davis, Chalstrom and Mike Hawkins. Results MICRO MlNI P/W: 1. Nicholas Brackett; 2. ErIc Gl'O'ihens; 3. Col~ Seaton; 4. Meade then pulled away with authority for the overnll victory, while Kearney held off Brandon Million to record a strong second-place finish. Meade was greeted by his tuner and dad at the finish linel given a big congratulatory hug and sent to the trophy room to collect his winnings.
