County. Pedrero won both the Open Money and
Over 25 classes on this 9O--plus-degree day, on
which just over 300 riders attended the event.
In the first Open Money moto, Pedrero led
the eight-rider field into tum one, with Buddy
Duffy, Jason Fink, Derrick Januszyk and John
Fesler following. Fesler .moved by Januszyk on
the first circuit as Fink slipped by Duffy for second. Pedrero opened up about a six-sec0r:'d lead
at the halfway point of the moto, until Fink
turned on the afterburners and closed to the rear
fender of Pedrero on the last lap. With the white
flag out, Fink dived underneath Pedrero in a
turn to bke the point position and win the moto.
Pedrero, Duffy, Fesler and Billy Wood rounded
out the top five piaces.
Pedrero rocketed out of the gate to start
moto two, with Fink, Januszyk, Duffy and Todd
Wichtner giving chase. Duffy made a block-pass
on Januszyk on lap one as Fesler motored by
Wichtner. Fesler then set his sights on ]anuszyk
and overtook him for fourth. Meanwhile,
Pedrero had a three-second advantage over Fink
and Duffy, who were bartling for the runner-up
spot. Pedrero held on for the moto and overall
win, ahead of Fink, Duffy, Fe ler and Wood,
who passed Wichtner late in the race.
Ped.rero tater returned. to win both Over 25
motos over Tim Eggers on his Cycle Rider's
RM125.
Suzuki-1:?acked Davi Millsaps won the 60cc
(9-11) and 80cc (7-11) divisions. Milisaps, on his
RM, was doing all the SX-style jumps that most
of the big-bike riders wouldn't even
