Junge grabs Anderson SX

Kawasaki pilot Greg Junge of Tryon, North Carolina, led the Supennini class from start to finish
to win it at round two of the RoUercoaster Racing Tour. The Kawasaki/Pro-Action Suspension/3D Second Cleaner-backed rider had a
great weekend at the Anderson County Fairgrounds, winning three out of four classes he
entered and finishing a close runner-up to Blake
Arrowood in Saturday's 85cc (12-13) battle.

was pleased with the turnout of 270 riders,
mainly from North and South Carolina and
Georgia. The large amount of entries forced the
JMX staff to run two divisions in four classes:
BOec Beginner, 12Sec C, 125cc C and Unlimited
C/O.
lunge took the holeshot in every one of his
four main events, -riding smoothly to his three
victories and only bobbling once, in the 8Sec (1213) race. Once E&H Honda/PC Transportationbacked Arrowood took the lead, he proved
impossible to pass and Lunge had to settle for
second.
"This has been good for him," commented
Lunge's dad. "Every rider has to figure out how
to overcome his slumps, and, hopefully, this
weekend did it for Greg."
Arrowood also had a good evening, placing
third in the Supermini class behind Junge and
Suzuki of Gastonia's Travis Flowers, who also
won the Junior Mini division.
The most intense racing occurred in the main
event for the first division in the 125cc C class.
Heat-race winner Donnie Allison jumped-to the
early lead on his FMF/Hinson/Pepsi-backed
D;laChine and showed the way for half the main,
shadowed by Brandon Ross of Forest City,
orth Carolina, and Neely Racing-backed John
Guker. Suddenly, Allison's Vamaha cross-rutted
and threw him to the ground, opening the door
for Ross and Guker. Although Allison was able
to remount and finish the race, he had tweaked
his back, and thus ended his evening.
When Allison's crash slowed Ross and
Guker, Jason Libera of Lenoir, North Carolina,
and Harrisburg, North Carolina's Tim Huntley
caught up to make it a real battle for the lead.
