They both traded wins, with Morrison taking the win in moto two and taking the overall. Kenny Seivers may have easily won the 125cc Novice class, but the race for second overall was a dillerent story. Daren Miranda and Jason Jones were trading positions, with Miranda edging out Jones for second overall when it was aU over. Zack CanizaJes dominated the 250cc ovice class, with Rob Wilshire putting together 4-2 finishes to take second overall. Tyke Blanchard had a strong £ir,;t-moto finish but had to settle for third overall. In the Vet Over 40 Intermediate class, Daniel Da valos took his Suzuki to a commanding twomoto win to earn the overall. Chuck Rouse not only beat his Over 50 Intermediate classmates, but was also dicing with the "'young"' 4O-yearolds who also started on his gate! CMXR is promoting a ··first time"' Beginner class and encouraging new racers to come out and try racing. To do this, CMXR has asked all racers to move up a cJass, and has added an Expert class for the former ll1termediates to move into. Winners in the Beginner.class will be moved up to Novice.
