Motorcycle racing legends Larry Roeseler
and Rex Staten were both also on hand at the
Valentine's shindig. Staten, a motocrosser
turned desert racer, has dominated every class
he has entered in recent years. Awards for number-<>ne plates in the Senior Open Desert, Grand
Prix and Classic divisions were given to Staten.
Roeseler started his career racing in District 37
events nearly three decades ago and is a true
legend if there ever was one.
