Mi ke Spohn laid claim to the Open B-class
victory , bu t it was Mario R ice comi ng from the
Over 30 B class who claimed the Overall B victory, closely followed by Chris Wicker and Brad
lhompso n.
Lacy Thompson proved that her previous
fourth-place fin ish in th e heavily con tes te d
Open C class was no fluke by railing her Honda
of Houston-sponsored 250cc to third place. Jim
Bennett and Zacha ry Davis w ere well in control
of the class , finis hing first and second, ~pec.

Brian Cecil came on strong from the 20CIcc C
class to win the Overall C honors . Lone \'Vhitmire controlled the Wom en 's class by fmishing
one minutc ah ead of Lorena Ha ncock. 'Martin
Howell on ce ag ain ru led th e 60cc cla ss, and
Derek Osborn narrowly edged the hard-cbarging James Bethel by two seconds d uring the ~
