Jason Sim mo ns se t the pa ce early in
the second mo to before Mils tead ov ertook him on lap two . Rodriguez tossed
his goggles a fte r being roost ed on the
fres hly watered track, making his ques t
to catch the fleet Mils tead even harder.
Milstead ended up taking the win, wit h
a hard-charg ing Rod r ig u ez clo sing to
wi thi n two bike lengths at the checkers.

Chris Conahan looked like he ha d
the first 250cc Beginner mota wi n in the
ba g u ntil he slid out in a corner. Za ch

Bakken had the second- mote holesh ot
until he slid out between turns two and
three, collecting Co nahan - amongst others - in the process. Ca mzales avo id ed
the pileup and used that ad vantage to go
1-1 for the overa ll wi n . Conahan recovered for a ru nner -u p fin ish , over Ty ke
Blanchard and An d rew Carr.

him to an eighth-place finish in the first
mo ta, Kevin Jennings came out smoking
in the second rou nd and easily wa lked
away wi th the win. Eberle go t a better
start this time and kep t his FMF-back ed
YZl 25 in secon d place the entire mota to
collect the overall victory. Evans wen t 1-3
for second in th e st andings, wi th Je nning's secon d-mo te win being eno ugh to
top the 4-5 of Jahuson for third overall. , ~
