With the usual suspects taking win s in th e Pro class es, th e s u p p o r t cla sses proved to outshine the big boys with some ba rbangin g excitement. The main events s tarted out with the Mini 50cc class hol es hot goin g to Jeremiah Peigen. Tory Ba ure, Mall Linq uist and Kolby Rogman wen hounding the Yamaha--mounted Frigtn as the pack came 'out of tum two. Alex Jorgensen found himself in sixth place after the firs t lap, but would join the tight battle at the front soon after. Linquist moved around Baure on the second lap as Jorgensen moved up another place. The fo urth lap p ro ved costly for Baure, as a small mis ..ke dropped him 10 filth as Ragman and Jorgensen both slipped past. Jorgensen also got past Ragman and into third. Frignt took the checkers as Linq uist held off Jorgensen lor second. . The bes t race of the night was not in the bigger classes, but ;" tho MW 60cc class. The leader , Buol, crashed in tum tw o and the pack scrambled to miss the fallen rid er. Bissel foun d h ims el f in th e lead, with Trcnd e and AhJ tryi n g to find the fas tes t line arou nd him. The crowd was on its feet as Bissel, Trende an d Ahl we re joined at th e fro n t by Becky Reinke. This pa ck of riders ba tt led two, three and someti mes four w ide try ing to get to the front. At the end 01 the third lap, Trende jumped out fron t, foJlowcd closely by Bisset. Ahl and Reinke. Soon after, though, tho pack swallowed up the leader as Bissel found his way to the lead again. The crowd reared, as not even the scorers could tel) who was leading as the race nea red the end. With the white flag waving. any of the top fou r riders had a shot at the win. A small slip caused Reinke to go d own, and Bissel !wId the lead as AhI ju mped into second, with Trende alongside.
