Dusty Faulds racked u p wins in the Open Pro
a nd 250cc Pro classes during Saturday night
racing at Saddleback Raceway. A mental miscue
d uring the Open Pro Tf wa." the only blemish
on Faulds' Pro-class.. perfonn.mce.
Faulds d om inat ed the competition at the
SVCC sho rt track. showing he has become one
of the top riders at the Sadd Jeback Raceway-.
Faulds" dominance d id not mean the racing was
not exciting or dose. Fau lds took the boleshct in
the Open Pro IT class with a daring move into
the finot tum, in fron t of Brad Letcher and C JBeving. The rccng was fast and furious, but the
order would not change until th e final lap.
Heeding fo r the in field section, Fau lds pa..... led
th e tum and slowly drove off th e tr ack . Mid w e s t Lin p-X /X-IR - backed Le tcher took th e
lead. due to Faulds' misread ing the white flag .

tine for his first Pro-c lass win ever, as Beving

Letcher stated afterward. "I d idn 't know if
he broke ur mi... ed the whitt!' flag, bu t I wasn't

Fau lds' confidence was high, as he voluntarily started the ~ Pro class on the secon d line.

Letcher took the point off the line. with Bevtng
close be hi nd. Fau lds got by Beving and slid
und er Letcher to tak e the lead and pu ll ..wa y
for a convlncing win.. Beving pu t a kamikaze
move on Letcher in tum two, making the pass
and securing M"COnd .

second. Anderson fen and was nearly hit by C/.

The ra ce was restarted . and Faul d s again
rocketed to the front. He pulled out an insurmountable le ad, while Beving, Brisbin a nd

Kawasaki-moun ted Billy Silvarole took the overall wins in the 12Scc. 25Occ,. and Over 25 Ex~
c lassesa t round two of the New York Sta te Challenge Series race at Hunt Mota Park. Some 460
rid ers turned ou t to compete under sunny skies,
with temper atu res in the high 80s. Track amd"
tions were excellent. with man y lines to choose
from, making for a great d ay of racing.
Silvarole came away with six motu wins as
