Kaw asaki -mounted Isba Wood turned out to be
th e big winoer at thf. opening round of the fifth
annual Ballzee Aggressive Wear Grand Championship Series held "I the classic Rolling Hills
Cycle Park.
The Birch Creek-promoted. event drew more
than 500 riders to get the series underway,
which resulted in some great racing action, The
strong turnout provided very tight racing that
would see three different double-class winners.
Wood shewed the way all day long in the
fearless 85cc divisions and would come ..way
with a perfect fou r-moto sweep of the 85cc (12:
15) and Supermini (10-15) classes. Wood. out of
Wa yn esboro . Virginia. has held the 80cc number-one p late in D is t ric t 13 for the p as t few
years. an d his ride was a fine exam ple of the reason why . Not to be outdone in st eady riding
behind Wood was the Yamaha-mounted Cory
