Slavish bags Huntersville Enduro By Kurt Shwle HUNTERSVJI.LE, MN, JUNE 2 Matt Stavish was the Grand Champion at the District 23 season-opening Enduro in the small town of Huntersville. Even though the trees were tight, the sand made Huntersville Open<1ass territory, as 1991 State Champion Mark Hoasek proved by capturing second place AA with 17 points. Wisconsin's Steve NareJ narrowly edged out Holasek for first AA, after points officials dug deep in the rule book. Narel had also carded a 17 and tied Holasek at two emergency checks. KDX rider Kelly Getz drove a few states north, to win 200cc A class with 21 poinls, while Joe Zierman made sure the Overall A trophy, earned with 20 points, stayed in Minnesota.
