(770) 934-7850. ,FAX (770) 934-3112 No offense Too many Kings As a kid growing up, I led a nomadic life, constan tly bundled in to the back of exotic vans and cars, perched on top of s p are wh eel s, vyin g fo r p o sit ion am ongst engines and fram es - when d ad is a Pro racer it is all part of the deal. A few months ago I gri maced atthe flash back of a cric ked neck, cra mped legs, sard ine sho ulders, as dad inti mated his desire for me to join him on the circui t. This time, however, it would be as promo ters of th e Wulfsport quality racewear. If our fri end s co u ld se e u s now , wearing our comfy fr eetime e n du ro jackets around with temperatures soaring in the 90s , they would kn ow tha t dad has certainly fallen on his head on e too ma ny tim es a nd his son, too, ha s gone completely off the tro lley. With the emphasis on "I" in lim ited resources, we cou ld n' t afford the "t:" in co llect to foll ow our price less . d ea ler advice to "Jus t ge t Jeremy McGra th to wear your gear." Seemingly by divine intervention, a fellow Kiwi won the firs t round of the 500cc MX Worl d Championship, wearing our ste llar Wul fsp ort line. Dealers in Visalia, California, or Hend erson , Nevada, wouldn' t comprehen d our "windfall " until it made headlines in the oracle Cycle News. We began gea ring up fo r the ad van ce of orders and waited for the hardest earned advertisementthat mon ey could buy and su re enough... "King Shayne' s Co urt." But wai t, the ph oto purported ly shows our hero, but he' s not wearing the quality Wulf gear . Su rely o u r m a n h a s n o t defected the ranks already? No , simp ly that Shayn e is number 9 - no t number 3. Oh, w ell , bein g rich probably woul d have been borin g any way. Wh en Shayne w ins his next Grand Pr ix, pl ease allow yo u r read ers to see him in the vib rant Wu lfsport colors on yo ur fro nt cover an d also convey to Jerem y McGra th tha i now that he has lost a race, if Fox deci de to fire him, we need a U.S. wo rks rider very badly. We've go t a bundle of goodwill and grea t beer, bu t the pay is bad. . Bill Hotchkiss (Issue #17, May 1) is the latest. [ qu ote: "My wife, d au ghters and myself always wait for the 883 hea ts to go to the restroom and concessio n stand so that we don ' t miss an y of the good racing ." I don't know where Mr . It is racing and it is serious even th ou gh they have a good time. Add the 600s and w e w ill have a co m p le te night of quality dirt track. Larry Langley Hesperia, CA John Kocinski is determined to leave the past behind and start with a clean slate. Reall y? He states tha t pa rt of that ba d image wa s cau sed by bad management. Really? He go es on to say, "Now I think I'm not on ly a good rider, bu t also a good lawyer and a good acco u nt an t." Reall y? Appa re n tly, humility isn 't one of his strong points either.
