PALMDALE,CA,APR .7 Eric "Little Guy " Casas came out on top of both Vet Expert-Pro molos to take ho me first- place mo ney during roun d two of the Californ ia Racing Clu b's annual Tri- Race Series, held at Los Angeles County Raceway. Rodney Morrison bolted into the first-moto lead an d qu ickly pull ed away from Mark Horton,') on Zah rt and Cas.1S. Zahrt 'went down and d ropped to the back of the pa ck on the opening lap as Casas tried to find a waya round Horton. Casas ho un ded Hort on for the first half of the race before being able to make a pass into second place, an d then set out to reel in Morrison, w ho e n joyed a 6-se co n d lead. Two laps later Casas outj u m pe d Morri son to lea d the field. Casas took the win w ith Morrison keep ing him honest. Zahrt had worked back u p to third and was catching the two front-runners be fore ta ngli ng wi th a la pper an d goi ng d own aga in . Zahrt recovered to hold off Hort on at the checkers for third . Morrison had the start wired and gra bbed his second holesh ot of the day over Zahrt and Ho rton. Casas' bike bogged off the lin e, but within a lap h e ca me fro m las t place to run fourth. Zahrt made qu ick work of Morrison and look ed like he was going to run away with the se co n d -m o te win.
