BrI • • • - - - - -=-- - -#-~-----Several riders. most notably Scott Parker and Steve Morehead, were weal in the rider's meeting .over their.dlsapproval of s~me of the new 1996 dirttrack rules. The riders are specifically upset over two rules: The new fuel guidelines. and the rule which nowmakes ';t legal for a riderto swit h motorc cycles at any time during the night only if he can prove that his qualified motorcycle is incapable of competing (e.g. mechanical faUure). "I don't like the · new bike rule.". Parker said. "6 ther you can switch .bikes or.you can't. lt shouldn't matter whether or not . it's broken.
