Casey grabbed the lead in th e first 250cc Expert moto and quickly broke awa y from the pack, leaving Hart, who ga ted poorly, to fight through traffic to challenge Casey for the lead . Despite the potential challenge, Casey prevailed at the end of the moto. Hart bounced back in moto two, getting the no d a fter another tough battle to fin ali ze his two- class sweep for the day. Casey took second on 1-2 scores ahe ad of Sipp'53-3. Riding a 1976 Montesa 360, Shawn Brown · roosted his wa y to the overall in the Almost Vintage cla ss , b eating Yamaha-mounted Mon ty Price.
