lead in the next tum and held his position all the
way to checkered flag with Tede sco close beh ind
in second . Cook crashed in the tu rn after the first
double and DNFed wh ile Barham, Gerdes, and
Beau Boyn ton rou nded ou t th e top five spo ts.
Marley went on to claim the 8Scc (12-13) crown
as we ll.

The 125cc (12-15) Schoolboy ma in even t ho sted the fastest and most agi le Schoo lboy racers on
the gate, with Tedesco grabbing the holeshot and
leaving the lot behind . Nick Metcalf took up second followed by Jay Goosmann and Mat t Leach,
who had passed Eric Fritzso n over the first double at the top of lap two. Fritzson came back to
retake the fourth pos ition as Aaro n Storey raced
from midp ack to fifth in one lap.

Metcalf led the second cavalry with Goosmann
still close enough to take away seco nd should

the Northwes t.
In the 250cc Jun io r class. Edd ie Beach took
both motos and took command of the class. He
was follow ed in the last moto by Brett Dornrude
until Justin Redman caught hi m on the last lap
with a great move to take second place. Domrude
had to sett le for th ird .
There was plen ty of action in the 60cc (6-8)
Junior class, whi ch was wo n by Justin Keeney

Pese k.
Susan Smith was the Woman's-class overall
winne r. Smith beat ou t ov era ll po in t ch am p
Deann a Holbrook. In the first mota, Smith had to
settle for second as the hard -charging Emily Norton proved to be unstop pable. But in the second
mo te, Norton was invol ved in an accident. taking
her ou t of the running and allowing Smith to
grab the victory.
The story was different in the Before the Hill
Junior class, as Justin Redm an-rode a near-pe rfect
race d uring both Matos for a dean sweep of the
class. Rayrn Conk ey took second overall for the
day.
