Bo, Travis and Bob won the SOcc, 125cc and Open A classes, respectively, on the tenth-mile oval. Suzuki-mounted Sean Light sat on the pole for the seven-rider 80cc A main, 'but it was a pair of 15-year-olds that put the squel!ze on Light. Bo Ingle flat ran away with the 20-lapper while Light and Damien Saltzman swapped it out for second in the day's best battle, which went Saltzman's way. Light finished a close third, well aheaa of Michael Bums and Tyler Healey. Bo Ingle led the 125cc A main and was chased for the first five laps by brother Travis, who finally stuck a wheel underneath Bo to steal the lead. The pressure was lessened when Bo Ingle fell. Travis Ingle went on to win while Saltzman momentarily rode in second until Bo Ingle got by him to finish second. Bob Ingle had tough competition in the Open A main from fellow former AMA junior Pro Bob Klum. In fact, K1um got the jump on the field at the start and, even though he fell victim to Ingle's onslaught, actually was out front late in the race when Ingle went wide.
