BMW after a year on the factory Suzuki, was
in fine form in race two, besting Kyle Wyman
and Toni Elias in a race-long battle. "It has
been an extremely tough year trying to be
competitive on the BMW, but today I had fun
for the first time in a long time!" Herrin said
on his Instagram. "We are still far from the
front, but we have come a long way."
MINI CUP
The Mini Cup for riders on Ohvale 110 ma-
chines held its second round in Pittsburgh,
and once again it was Mikey Lou Sanchez
who took both race victories on his Sanchez
Racing Ohvale. It was an identical podium
in both races, with Nathan Gouker (Nathan
Gouker Racing) second and Kensei Matsud-
aira (Kensei Matsudaira Racing) third.
Briefly...
This was as close as everyone got to Richie
Escalante (54) in Supersport. The black
Kawasaki rider was flying at PittRace, and is
now in firm control of the title. Brandon Paasch
(21) needs to make that final step to fight and
beat Sean Dylan Kelly (40), with Escalante
another step ahead.
