TEAM GREEN WEEKEND
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Mos t of the rest of the weekend, which
hosted CCS racers from th ree regions - MidWes t. Great Lakes and Great Plains - belonged
to Murphy. The 26-year-old had cut his road
racing tee th by turning laps on the National
endurance circuit. Focused on earning a living
road racing. Murphy challenged race after race
in the Kawasaki contingency paying program
classes. He led every lap of the fOUT Kawasaki
classes for $500 a win each .
Taking convincing wins in the Mid dleweight Supersport and Superbike classes
was amazing enough, but outrunning the top
75Occ-mounted riders on his admittedly stock
ZX-6, was a thing of beauty. Murphy turned
low 1:535 on the 2.5-mile course, making up a .
lot of time carving through the technical esses
portion on his Tuf Racing/4&6 Cycle/Magic
Racing/Dunlop/Mic ron /Motul/Spo rt Cy cle

The seemingly indes tructible Mu rp hy finally met his match in th e $750 Unlimited GP
