Hades,
Torrance stayed ou t front for two laps before
Hades kicked in the afterburners, passing Spann
in the sweepe r to the Dolly Doubl es and then
Torrance in the river bottom on the sa me lap.
Although pos itions cha nged , all three were still
at the head of their respective classes when the
checkered flag fell.
Mota two saw Spann out front off the start
and hold ing the number-one spot for two laps
before Had es, took over the lead in the whoo ps.
Hodes rode alone to claim the Expert win, while
Spann claimed a do uble moto win in the 250cc

sta rt until Hades pus hed him back to third position, but first in thel 25cc Intermed iate class.
