ITALY, DEC 7-8 onth s after the supercross season ended in the Ll.S.; European fans have been getting their SX fix in a series of e ve nts s taged in several co un tries th rou gh ou t the continent. In ad di tion to the recentl y com p leted World Series of Super cr oss, th e Bo logna Su pe rcross is one of a number o f non -points-p aying even ts that, nevertheless, d raws some of the world 's top riders by pa ying hands ome a p pea ra nce mon ey up front, as well as a substan tial purse. . Th e "big three" - Jer emy McGr ath, Mi ke LaRocco an d Mi ke Kied ro w sk i didn' t ma ke it to Bol ogna, but Stev e Lamson, Lar ry Ward, Gu y Cooper and Mich ael Craig did, as well as expatriates Bob M oore, T ra m pas Parker, Tallon VohIand and Bader Manneh.
