Pro /Expert Ty Wallace propelled himself 10blistering victories in both the 125 and 250cc

12SocNali onal Champion Doug Henry.
As the gate dropped in the first 250cc mete,
26 of the Northeast's best poured around tum
one with Henry, Carroll and Wallace up in front.
After the first lap, a bad crash on the tabletop
finish line brought out the red flag. and back
in to the gate they went. Ag ain, down -w e n t
the gate, and emerging from the d ust and into
the lead was Wallace. He started pulling aw ay

CarrolL By lap six of the eight-lap moto, Henry
had Wallace locked in h is sights and ready
for the kill. It took only a few comers until
Henry found the perfect li n e and s w oop ed

fourth.
Henry missed molo two when he had leave
the track for a flight to California . Wallace,
Stratton, McMillen and Coen were left lunging
for the lead off the gate. Wallace pulled the
holesho t with Strallon, McMillen and Caen hot
on his ta il for the first four laps. Co en , who
seemed to come from nowhere, was soo n all
over Wall ace and passed him in the back section. Wallace quickly cut Coen off at the next
comer.
The riders all remained ve ry clo se for the
next three laps until the last lap when Wallace
turned it up ano ther notch and pulled away for
the win. In a close ballie for second, Coen managed to hold off McMillen and a charging Brian
Carroll, McMillen ending up thir d and Carroll
fourth.
The 12Soc Pro /Expert motos were fast'paced
and furious as Wallace defied gravity, obtaining
high speeds throughout both motos en route to
the ov erall .

Sizemore around. Stewart quickly remounted
and charged to the front, then o u tbra ked Sizemo re e nteri ng the pit and set his sights o n

Ad ams held Stewart at ba y for two laps,
before Stewart sailed by on the drop-off. Stewart
pulled out a seven-second lead by the time the
checkered flag came out. Adams rode home in

The second molo saw Stewart again grab the

pulled aw ay from the field . Meanwhile, Adams
had control of seco nd with Northey, Truma n,
and Sizemore d icing for th ird. The three riders
switched spots each lap, with Northey coming
out on top at the finish over Truman and Sisemore. Stewart easily won the moto to comp lete
