RACING
Behrle moved un der Roeder in tum one . Roeder
held on in second p lace but gave it up on the
next lap when he lost the rear end and another
rider wiped out his front end, sending Roed er
tumbling to the dirt. Roeder's tumble was the
second on the slick Lawrenceburg surface, and it
brought ou t the red flag.
On the restart, Roed er quickly we nt from
10th to sixth, then to fifth p lace, when he got by
Ben Bellma n a t the midway po int
Up front, Behrle had grabbed the lead on the
restart and held it to the finish, followed by
Mike Butler, Tommy He ns ler, Gary Stogsdill,
and Roeder.
In the 250cc Feature Sam Lowe grabbed the
early lead and the win followed by Travis Burnett, Phil Wolf, Dusty Hunt, and Curt Snelling.
Lowe also motored to a full-straightaway win
in the Open A feature over Tony Bolling. Wade
Summers, Mike Daniels, and Luther Allen.
Damon Stapleton grabbed the first-lap lead
in the 125cc feature and rode to a solid win over
Phil Wolf, Nick Hummel, and Lisa Hiler. The
80ce feature saw David Wolf motor to a solid
win. Behind Wolf, Zach Palmer came from a
penalty-row start to finish in second place. Cory
Roth came from a last-place start to third place
and then slowly reeled in Palmer, w ho was'
holding down second place. Roth shadowed
Palmer the last few laps but was unable to make
the pa ss, settling for third place at the finish.
