Meanwhile, Lat ham an d Wo olse y were eng aged in a ba ttl e up front. Latha m took the checkered flag first, followe d by Woolsey. Waring was able to hold off Kurz for third. Latha m gra bbed the holeshot in moto two, followed by Woolsey, Daubitz and Kurz. Kurz's momen tum carried him into second place by the end of lap one . Woolsey, however, wasn't about to let Latham get away an d go t back around Kurz in the bow l tum to regain the number tw o spot. As Latham, Woolsey and Kurz pulled away, an intense ba ttle for fourth developed among Daubitz, Waring and Joey Pratt . Waring made a move to take ove r fourth through the whoop section. but couldn't pull it off as Pratt closed in. Waring finally passed Daubitz in the woods to take the fourth positi on. Latham raced to the checkered flag-in for the win followed by Woolsey. Pratt made an unbe lievable charge in the final run through the whoops, coming from fifth to third by passing Kurz and Daub itz. Latham contin ued his win streak, by holding Woolsey off during the first 2SOcc Expert moto and Dave Shad e in moto two.
